1. General

1.1 These general terms and conditions apply to all services and treatments performed by Miss. Elegance, located at Doelenstraat 6, 1811 KZ Alkmaar, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under the trade name WAX & WELLNESS with number 71560998. 1.2 By making an appointment via WhatsApp, the customer agrees to these general terms and conditions. 1.3 Miss. Elegance reserves the right to refuse customers if this is deemed necessary in professional judgment.

2. Treatments and Results

2.1 Miss. Elegance offers professional hair removal treatments, including waxing and laser hair removal. 2.2 The result of a treatment may vary and depends on factors such as skin type, hair type, age, hormones and other personal circumstances. No guarantees are given on specific results. 2.3 Clients are advised to strictly follow all recommendations and advice from the specialist for optimal results.

3. Appointment and Cancellation

3.1 Appointments can be cancelled free of charge, regardless of the reason. Customers are requested to report a cancellation as soon as possible via WhatsApp. 3.2 Miss. Elegance reserves the right to refuse further services if the customer is absent multiple times without notice or does not comply with the house rules:

Come to your appointment clean and hygienic.

Always treat the owner and staff with respect.

4. Payment and Rates

4.1 All rates include VAT and are communicated before the start of the treatment. 4.2 Payment must be made immediately after the treatment by debit card or cash, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Health and Safety

5.1 Clients are required to share all relevant medical information before starting treatment, such as allergies, skin conditions, medication use or other circumstances that may affect the treatment. 5.2 Miss. Elegance is not liable for damage, complications or side effects resulting from withholding relevant medical information. 5.3 If necessary, the specialist reserves the right to refuse treatment in the interest of the health and safety of the client.

6. Disclaimer of Liability

6.1 By making an appointment, the client acknowledges that treatments at Miss. Elegance are entirely at their own risk. 6.2 Miss. Elegance is not liable for any damage, injury, allergic reactions or complications resulting from the treatments, unless there is intent or gross negligence. 6.3 The client indemnifies Miss. Elegance from any legal liability with regard to damage or injury, except in cases of proven intent or gross negligence. 6.4 Clients are advised to seek advice from a doctor or specialist in advance if in doubt.

7. Privacy

7.1 Miss. Elegance does not store any personal data of customers. 7.2 All communication and data shared via WhatsApp is used exclusively for making appointments and is deleted after 90 days. 7.3 Miss. Elegance complies with the GDPR guidelines by not storing or using data for other purposes.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 Miss. Elegance is not liable for failure to meet agreements due to force majeure, such as power failures, extreme weather conditions, illness or other unforeseen circumstances.

9. Complaints procedure

9.1 Complaints about a treatment must be reported immediately after the treatment, so that a suitable solution can be sought together with the customer. 9.2 Complaints can be submitted via WhatsApp. Miss. Elegance strives to respond within 14 days.

10. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions

10.1 Miss. Elegance reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. 10.2 Changes will be communicated in a timely manner and the most current version is always available in the salon and on request via WhatsApp.

11. Applicable Law

11.1 These general terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. 11.2 Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual agreement. If this is not possible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
